Danforth Bay Current COVID Operating Updates

Updated April 21, 2021

Danforth Bay Camping and RV Resort is open with current camping guidelines that are in addition to our already existing Campground Rules & Guidelines. Please read carefully and take the time to make sure all members of your family understand these guidelines. All campers will be required to adhere to our guidelines  as well as those recommended by state and federal officials and the CDC.

  • All campers are required to adhere to guidelines set forth by Danforth Bay Camping and RV Resort. Campers must practice safe social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet, and wear cloth masks covering nose and mouth when in proximity to non-household members, regardless of inoculation. No group larger than 10 may congregate and will need to wear face masks and social distance, unless they are from the same household. Additional state or federal restrictions may apply. Please note those of you who are arriving from outside of the New England states, are encouraged to quarantine for 10 days prior to your arrival.

  • All reservations must be made in advance of date of arrival, no walk in or off the road reservations allowed.

  • We are taking precautions to minimize physical contact, so we will be performing check-ins through email prior to your arrival or at the check-in window upon arrival. When utilizing the check-in window face masks are required and we ask that only one person per party come to register.

  • You may access the office by phone, email or check-in window. This will allow us to keep the 10 people allowed inside to be dedicated to store shoppers when that opens May 1. Please note that the Front Office and Seasonal Office have merged. Any seasonal communication can be done via email to seasonal@danforthbay.com, calling either seasonal extension 724 or office extension 0. You may also speak to someone in person at the front reservation office of the Depot.

  • For the safety of your children as well as other guests, children under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult whenever they are off their site to ensure social distancing from others.

  • All indoor facilities/gathering areas are closed.

  • Pools are open seasonally. Please work with us in keeping this safe and enjoyable for everyone so that we can continue to keep the pools open.
    • In an effort to ensure all of our campers can enjoy the pool we are asking that you limit your time at the pool to a maximum of two hours per day.
    • Please only enter when it is safe for you to keep a 6’ distance from other parties. Face masks must be worn (covering your nose and mouth) when 6’ social distancing cannot be maintained.
    • For the safety of our campers, all chairs and tables have been removed. You are welcome to bring in your own chairs but they must be removed when you leave the pool area (they cannot be used to save spaces).
    • Chairs must be placed 6’ from other parties.
    • The capacity of the pool areas are limited to the number of parties that can be accommodated while maintaining a distance of 6’ between each party.
    • Pool hours are the same as Store hours.
  • Outdoor facilities such as tennis, volleyball and basketball courts as well as playgrounds are open. Campers using outdoor facilities will be required to practice 6’ social distancing and must wear cloth face masks when in proximity to other non-household members. Campers will need to provide their own equipment.

  • The beaches are open. Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 with at least 6 feet of distance maintained between people at all times. As a reminder, shoreline fishing is not permitted in areas that are designated as swim beaches.

  • The boat house is open seasonally for boat rentals. Payment with a credit/debit card is required at this time. For more details on boat rentals including hours and pricing, please visit: danforthbay.com/hours-and-activity-information

  • The Depot Store will be opening on May 1, 2021 for in store traffic. A limit of 10 will be allowed in at one time. Masks and social distancing will be required. We continue to sell items thru the check in windows until May 1, as well as if you are unable to wear masks due to health restrictions.
    • Curbside pickup is available. Orders may be placed via email- store@danforthbay.com or by calling (603) 539-2069 Ext. 729. A list of the store inventory can be found by visiting: danforthbay.com/depot-store.
    • Store hours will match The Depot office hours.
  • Limited scheduled activities and entertainment will be scheduled this summer and please visit our Weekly Activities calendar for the latest updates. Also, as you enjoy your own ways of having fun with your family and friends, we invite you to participate in our Four Seasons Of Fun summer photo contest.

  • Laundry facilities: The Depot laundry room will be open, with limited hours and is closed to the general public. Laundry will be cleaned daily, but we recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies, and disinfecting all touch surfaces before and after use. Social distancing must be practiced, so we ask all campers to wait outside of the laundry rooms while laundry is running so others may begin use. Please be prompt in removing your own laundry when done. Do not remove other people’s laundry from any machine.

  • Due to the limited hours of operation for the laundry room, the AED is now located in the white wooden shed located outside of the Depot.

  • Golf cart rentals are available. Please call reservations for more details.

  • Please refrain from having any packages or mail delivered to the campground.

  • Wi-Fi:  Please understand we will not be able to guarantee consistent Wi-Fi services.  Demand on our system at this time will be overwhelming and could slow connections or create other substantial issues.

All campers are expected to adhere to these guidelines, in addition to all previous rules. Guidelines are subject to change. We ask that you remain considerate and kind to each other and our teams.

With gratitude,

The Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort Team
