Camping Cabins

Danforth Bay offers its guests the unique opportunity to stay in one of its ten camping cabins. Three rustic cabins sit on the shore of Danforth Bay, and are extremely popular throughout the summer. Seven deluxe four-season cabins are located near the store and pool, and are great for summer and winter guests.

Waterfront Camping Cabins

Three rustic cabins are located on Winnisquam Way along the shoreline of Danforth Bay.

Waterfront rustic cabins can accommodate up to 6 persons and consist of a double bed in the main room and 2 sets of cot sized bunk beds in a small adjoining room. There is a bathroom with a cold-water sink and toilet. Shower facilities are located throughout the campground in any of the bathhouses. In the main room there is a table with 2 chairs, a small dorm sized refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. The front of the cabin features a porch with a swing and outside is a picnic table and a fire ring with grill. Cooking is not allowed inside the cabin. We provide a kitchen setup with the basics you will need for cooking. The kitchen package consists of cups, bowls, plates, platter, pots, silverware, dish pans and drain board, pot holders, camping stove (propane), measuring cups, pitcher, colander, etc. Linens are not provided in the cabin. You may bring your own bed linens or rent a linen package for $5 per bed for your stay. (Towels are not provided). The cabins have screens on the windows and front door but are not air-conditioned. The waterfront cabins are heated for use in the spring and fall.

Deluxe Camping Cabins

Seven deluxe cabins are located on Duncan Dr. adjacent to the main Depot building and the outdoor pool.

Deluxe cabins can accommodate up to 6 persons and consist of a queen bed in the bedroom, a double size futon couch in the main room and 2 cots in the loft. There is a bathroom with hot water, shower, sink & toilet. In the main room there is a table with 4 chairs and kitchenette. The kitchenette consists of a small dorm refrigerator, 2 burner stove top (no oven), microwave, sink, toaster and coffee maker. The front of the cabin features a porch with a swing and outside is a picnic table and a fire ring with grill. The kitchenette is equipped with basic cooking utensils and dishes. The kitchen setup consists of cups, bowls, plates, platter, pots, silverware, dish pans and drain board, pot holders, measuring cups, pitcher, colander, etc.  Linens are not provided in the cabin. You may bring your own bed linens or rent a linen package for $5 per bed for your stay. (Towls are not provided). The cabins have screens on the windows and front door and are air-conditioned.

The deluxe cabins are heated for winter use. For the winter season only they include bed linens, access to a fully equipped kitchen in the Depot for meal preparation is also available and seating in the Arcade for dining.

Pets are not allowed in the rental cabins or on the cabin sites and all cabins are non-smoking. There will be a $100 fee assessed if pets are found in a cabin or if it is determined that smoking has taken place in the cabin.

Cable is included in the rate if you wish to bring your own TV. Rental TV's are also available for $5 per day with a $75 security deposit.
