Danforth Bay Joins Campaign to Protect Forests of New Hampshire

Freedom, NH (May 21, 2009) – Trees across the country are being destroyed by invasive insects and diseases moved in firewood. Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort, The Bluffs RV Resort and its parent company Purity Spring Resort, have joined forces with the national DontMoveFirewood.org campaign to protect the trees and forests of New England by encouraging citizens not to risk transportating invasive insects and diseases in firewood.

Danforth Bay Camping & The Bluffs RV Resorts Receive Highest Rating

Freedom, NH - Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort and the neighboring Bluffs RV Resort,  for active adults have both received 5-star ratings from Woodall’s Media Company, publishers of the North American Campground Directory for over 70 years. This is the directory’s highest rating and represents fewer than 3% of the privately-owned campgrounds and RV parks listed in the 2008 guide.

There are two possible category ratings for the directory: “Facilities” and “Recreation”. Danforth Bay, www.danforthbay.com, and The Bluffs, www.nhrvresort.com, have received 5-star ratings for both.
