A Recreation Destination
Rain or shine, Danforth Bay offers a comprehensive recreation and activities program for all ages. From week long festivals and theme weekends to entertainment and plain ol' fun and games, our calendar certainly has something for everyone.
If you prefer fun on your own, our 2 large heated pools and 1 kiddie pool with slide will keep the entire family busy. Mary's Mountain is a short hike away and offers panoramic views to the east of Green Mountain and Ossipee Lake. Miles of dirt roads surround the Resort, and are great for mountain biking. When it rains, our clean, modern facilities provide indoor space for fun. Kids can enjoy arcade games, ping pong, air hockey and wide-open space for activities when the weather doesn't cooperate. Adults can relax in our quiet Pascoe Study, which overlooks the waterfront. As always, our fully-stocked camp store, snack shack and laundry facilities are open and ready for guests to visit.
A Natural Playground
Covering 185 forested acres and a full half-mile of lake frontage, Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort is truly a natural playground. Quiet Danforth Bay is perfect for water sports like fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and canoeing. In fact, a quick paddle around the corner will lead you to Huckins Pond, a stunningly beautiful natural area with beaver, waterfowl, wildflowers, an abundance of songbirds and other wildlife. Boats, canoes, paddleboards and kayaks are all available for Danforth Bay guests to rent.
Danforth Bay also offers access to Ossipee Lake, one of the most popular lakes in our region, excellent for water skiing, tubing and pleasure-boating.
